Professional experience
Associate at Schmeiser, Olsen & Watts LLP from August 2009 to Present, specializing in patent preparation and prosecution. Former law clerk at Schmeiser, Olsen & Watts from 2008 to late 2009, and a former administrator for the Peer-to-Patent program, a pilot program in association with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Also a former faculty research assistant from 2006 to 2008 for the Director of the Center of Law and Innovation at Albany Law School, researching and analyzing Patent Reform legislation and recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions regarding Intellectual Property Law.


Other
While at Albany Law School, Mr. Murphy worked at the Health Law Clinic, representing low-income clients pro bono for all health law issues including insurance coverage. Additionally, Mr. Murphy is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
