Off To Osaka

Compiled by the Times Union Business Staff Representatives from three area firms are going to Osaka, Japan, in mid-October on a trade mission with Dan Bouchard, trade information specialist with the Capital Region World Trade Center. One company, The English Connection, based in Saratoga, provides instruction in English as a second language. Schmeiser, Olsen & Watts, a Colonie law firm specializing in intellectual property rights, is going along, as is Plum Exports from Delanson. Bouchard says export-minded business that have catalogs, but not the staff to go crack the Japanese market in person, can talk to him about getting their printed sales material into a trade show being held in Osaka at the same time.
