Schmeiser, Olsen, Watts Moves to Latham Office
Katie Navarra of The Saratoga Business Journal Schmeiser, Olsen and Watts law firm has moved to 22 Century Hill Drive, Suite 302, in Latham and hoped to have its new office open for business on April 3. The new office building is approximately 6,800 square feet of office space, a significant increase from the current 5,000-square-foot office space it had on Lear Jet Lane. Increased office space will allow teh firm's current staff of 21 to better serve current and potential clients, officials said. The added space also allows for expansion. "We are looking to hire more attorneys with the move," Jim Dawson, marketing and project manager for the firm, said. "The new location is a great convergence place," said Dawson. Easy access to Route 9, Route 7 and the Northway make the location convenient for clients. Proximity to the airport also helps access. "Century Hill is growing quite a bit. The location will give us access to potential customers moving into the area," he added. In addition to increased office space, the firm is also making provisions to expand the operating network to more efficiently process information. Keeping pace with the current technology is important to serving clients, said Dawson. Specializing in intellectual law, the firm covers all components of intellectual law, which includes patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, computer and trade secret law. Founded in 1983 by Arlen Olsen, managing partner in the Albany office, Albert Schmeiser, managing partner in the Arizona office and Charles Watts, now retired, has expanded its client base to service clients in Canada, China, Japan, Korea, Europe and other countries. The firm has an office in Mesa, Arizona, and a satellite office in San Francisco. For information call 220-1850 or visit at www.iplawusa.com. rg/12/'>lung cancer systoms
