Elementary students to learn from patent lawyer, a
Revena, Coeymans, Selkirk Central School District Online News Board Fourth grade students in RCS – who may be the next Albert Einstein or Benjamin Franklin – will learn about patenting inventions and the Capital District Invention Convention contest during a presentation by a lawyer and patent engineer on Jan. 16 at Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary School and Jan. 17 at AW Becker.. Jon Skelly, a patent agent for Schmeiser, Olsen & Watts, and Irene Lippa, an attorney with the firm, will talk to the students in RCS’ REACH Program for students who excel academically at a young age. The presentation will begin at 11 a.m. at PBC. His presentation will begin at 2 p.m. at AWB. The students, who are currently in the midst of an educational unit on inventions, will soon submit proposals to the Invention Convention in the Capital District with the hope of being one of 100 youths region-wide selected to construct their inventions. rg/12/'>lung cancer systoms
