William is experienced in all aspects of domestic and foreign patent prosecution, including the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, client counseling, due diligence review and patent portfolio strategy and management.
Prior to becoming a patent attorney in San Diego, William had over five years of hands on engineering experience in the field of biomedical technology working as an R&D Physicist developing fiber optic devices in the cardiology field. His intellectual property practice has an emphasis on biomedical technology, optics and materials science.
